We all know how popular Facebook’s Farmville has become, so popular that you can now play it in real life, called the MyFarm project.
A National Trust farm in Britain will allow up to 10,000 online farmers to vote on the decisions in the operation of the farm for an annual fee of £30.Subscribers can choose on which crops to plant, which animals to buy, to kill Wilbur and etc.
The farm will be setup with cameras which can be viewed at the MyFarm website which will feature video updates, information about farming and expert opinion. Subscribers can also get a ticket to visit the farm itself.
Wimpole Home Farm’s farm manager, Richard Morris, said, “MyFarm is Farmville for real. Real farming decisions with real farming consequences.”
