Namco Announce Dragonball: The Movie Game

Hollywood must be running out of ideas if they are coming out with a live action Dragonball movie. This adaptation from the manga and Anime is probably one of the worst ideas to come out from Hollywood. Beside the fact you got a Justin Chatwin playing as Goku and Chow Yun-Fat as the perverted Master Roshi just seem like a failure right away.

They got the hair down too!!

The only good thing about this movie is…. actually  I can’t think of any. Well to be fair I haven’t seen the movie and most likely I am not going to see it because it might just kill my love for the Dragonball series.

Now game developers love to use movies to put out a new game to cash in some money. Usually these games suck real bad, but somehow people buys it and it still make money from it which give them the idea to keep on coming out with these crap. Samples of these games would be E.T., Eragon, Charlies Angels, all the  Harry Potter games, O god Catwoman, Bad Boys.etc… I can list more, but then I have to think about them.

One game that will probably be the exact clone of the Dragonball: Evolution The Movie Game is Street Fighter: The Movie Game. Hopefully, you are one of the few lucky people out there that never heard of it. Trust me playing Van Damme as Guile is not that fun.

DragonBall: Evolution
StreetFighter: The Movie

Namco has plans to port Dragonball Evolution to the PSP and using the same mechanics as Bodokai series, but with polygonal versions of the actor. No way would anybody want to play as Justin Chatwin as Goku unless you just want to beat on him in the game for ruining the series.

Well in the end Namco will surely make a quick buck from this just like all other developers who made crappy movie games out there.

Oh yeah! Chung-Li from Street Fighter got its own movie coming out. At least we can oogle at Kristin Kreuk. =D

Expect this to be a game also.
