The recently announced XCOM game has disappointed fans when they’ve seen the trailer and realize it’s not the turn-based strategy that we all expected.

2K Marin has given a 22-minute demonstration of the the new and improved XCOM and with all criticism aside, it is starting to shape up much better than expected. The studio has tweaked the game after hearing the negative responses from fans.

Check out the video above with Narrative director Jordan Thomas and you can see how they’ve addressed the complaints. I’m quite optimistic with the new changes but you can’t please everyone.
