Ubisoft Gives Free Games for DRM Downtime

Ubisoft been trying to ease the damages done by their recent DRM downfall that left 95% (ahem prob 100%) gamers not being able to play their ‘Assassin’s Creed 2′ for a long while. Now it comes to the point where Ubisoft is handing out free games to apologize for the DRM incident.

The games that Ubisoft is offering are Prince of Persia, Heroes Over Europe, Endwar and H.A.W.X, which can just be downloaded to your PC. Several users have reported receiving an email from Ubisoft which you can view just below:

Kotaku also reported that some users are getting a different apology with different downloadable content. This apology contains the contents from the special edition which includes; Palazzo Medeci, Santa Maria Dei Frari, and Arsenal Shipyard.

Will this really help bring back the gamers to Ubisoft side? Well, all I can say its a good start. Maybe, Ubisoft can start giving away AC2 for free…
