New Features That FIFA 11 Will Offer
FIFA series has been around for a long time and it had some drastic changes in order to stay fresh and appealing for fans of the franchise; as well for the soccer fans. Of course, there is competitor Pro Evolution Soccer from Konami that makes things more challenging for the fans of the FIFA series. In order to stay fresh and more realistic, EA has announced that new FIFA 11 will have several new features so let’s check them out.
The first improvement that we’ll see is a way more better passing system that should be more realistic than the systems in previous games. This “Pro Passing” will make passes more realistic so every time you pass the ball many factors will influence on your pass such as ball’s spin and velocity and players perception and skill will play huge role as well. The key of successful pass in this game will be positioning and players will make a lot more passing mistakes that will make the game more realistic and harder. Another interesting feature is that most of the top players will have their own personality while they’re on the field so they’ll move similar as they do on actual field. Another improvement that we’ll see is the AI. AI will be improved and it should be able to read your passes and shoots better than before. In addition, AI will be more aggressive than before so you had better watch out.
If you want that authentic feel while playing with your favorite team, you’ll be pleased to know that know you can add your own custom chants to the game and enjoy in official or chants of your favorite team. But that’s not all, you can even add custom tracks and enjoy them at the any part of a game. Also new FIFA will use certain features from FIFA 2010 World Cup such as two-button control option.
All these new features look amazing but will FIFA 11 have enough to stand against Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer? We’ll have to wait for release date to find out.
