Carbine Studios is looking to reinvent the sci-fi MMO space with the newly announced Wildstar, which features a choose-your-own adventure gameplay for Firefly fans.

Wildstar will feature four playstyles on top of the regular class system which will factor into what you’ll be doing in the game. You can play as a Soldier and go around bashing things like usual. Explorers will be roaming the landscape, climbing peaks and delving underground. Settlers will be the builders, what they will build is unclear the moment. Last but not least, the scientists whom will be the collectors, uncovering the game’s story and acquiring artifacts.
