Activision and Infinity Ward has released the Spec Ops Survival Co-op trailer for Modern Warfare 3 along with some nice juicy info that will definitely excite you.

Spec Ops Survival will also contain co-op missions with a ranking system for you to track progress in both co-op and multiplayer modes. Missions will unlock as you rank up, more maps, weapons and progress in both modes will count towards your overall Spec Ops rank tracked by Elite.

You can play co-op online or through split-screen. And yes, MW3 will bring back dedicated server support for those who are still wondering.
