Mass Effect provided you with all sorts of characters and the greatest thing about it is that you are able to shape the storyline by performing actions that will have consequences in future. Story and characters were great in Mass Effect and Mass Effect really made you feel like you are watching a great science fiction movie. Mass Effect 2 managed to do the same thing by providing a new storyline that was affected by the events and decisions from the first game. As if we said, movie-like atmosphere is what makes the Mass Effect games so great. It is one of the main features, producers inspired to start working on a Mass Effect movie.

Honestly, we are not thrilled about this because we all know how movie adaptations of famous gaming series end up. They usually end up as mediocre movies that have almost nothing in common with the gaming series. We are hoping that Mass Effect movie will end up differently. According to the news it has seems that The Dark Knight and Spider-Man producers are teaming up for Mass Effect movie.

Legendary Pictures is working with Avi Arad and Ari Arad on this one but besides them, BioWare’s co-founders, Ray Muzyka, Greg Zeschuk, and Casey Hudson will work as executive producers, so there is a chance that Mass Effect movie will not suck. Matthew Fox will play Commander Shepard and we are expecting to see this movie in 2012.
