It’s been a while since we’ve heard any news about one of the most highly anticipated FPS games MMOFPS games. Huxley promised to deliver us 100 vs. 100 epic shooting battles but the game has completely disappeared out of site.
Huxley was originally announced back in 2005 and I was never more hyped. As time went by, I had almost forgotten they even existed. They’ve pretty much completely avoided all types of media and press their recent announcement of their close beta registrations are opened.
Sign up between 5/6/2009 – 5/20/2009. Announcement will be made on 5/27/2009. Test period is from 6/3/2009 – 6/14/2009 from 2PM to 10PM PDT.

According to Joystiqs recent interview with Andy Hong, project manager for Huxley: The Dystopia,
Huxley has been polished up and is now loading faster than ever. Huxley is still set for the PC and possibly on the 360 with a release at the end of 2009. Additionally, the game will be a microtransaction based.
It sounds like this game can open up the door to tons of amazing different possibilities. Best part is, the game will be somewhat free. Finally, a game that may bring MMO fans and FPS fans together in one game. Definitely not something you want to miss out on. If they can process 100 vs. 100 battles with little to no lag, it will definitely be worth the try. Be sure to check them out at E3 2009 for those who are attending.
