Counter Strike: Source available on Mac
First person shooters have been popular both on PCs and on consoles, and although we have seen many great first person shooters over the years nothing can compete with Counter Strike. I don’t think there’s a PC gamer that didn’t play Counter Strike at least once. It has started as a simple mod for Half Life and soon it gained enormous popularity because of its fast action and realism. Fans loved Counter Strike and it was the most popular multiplayer FPS game on PCs for a long time. And then Counter Strike: Source came, with improved engine, new physics and a brand new gameplay experience for the fans. PC users have enjoyed both Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Source for a while, but now since Steam is available on Mac we finally get Counter Strike: Source on it.
Following the example of Team Fortress 2, Valve has decided to make Counter Strike: Source available for Mac users and expand its audience that way. As you know Counter Strike is a simple FPS game in which you need to place the bomb at certain location or prevent the detonation of the bomb. There no story but there’s awesome action available because game is quite realistic and one shoot to the head will kill you.
Before Counter Strike was released for Mac, Valve has added another update, so now you’ll be available to check who was the best player in the round and also to check your accuracy with a specific weapon. In addition, Death Cam is added that shows you who killed you and how. Of course, users that have purchased CS: Source on PC can play it on Mac without the need to buy it again.
