According to BioWare’s Dr. Ray Muzyka, Commander Shepard will be leaving the Mass Effect universe after Mass Effect 3.

“After this, Commander Shepard’s story is complete,” Mazuka told PC Gamer and suggested that Shepard will not be making its entrance to any further Mass Effect titles. No details were mentioned to how Shepard will be exiting the series and we probably won’t know until half a year down the road when the game comes out on March 6, 2012.
