Beyond Black Mesa Fan-made trailer

There’s no need to mention how popular Half-Life franchise is. As you might remember, original Half-Life was called the best PC game ever when it was released. Although it took us six long years to get a Half-Life sequel, the sequel never lived to the old fame of its predecessor. Don’t get me wrong, Half-Life 2 was a great game, but it wasn’t revolutionary as the first game. Anyway, before the Half-Life 2 we got several expansion packs for the original Half-Life such as Opposing Force and Blue Shift that showed us what was going on in the Black Mesa during the incident from a different angle. Half-Life gave us amazing gameplay and interesting story so it’s no wonder that Half-Life franchise has so many fans all over the world. Usually when a certain franchise has a great number of fans we always see something fun and interesting from the community. Recently there has been interesting video trailer that is called Beyond Black Mesa. It’s not a Half-Life movie trailer, it’s entirely fan-made but although it’s fan-made it still looks amazing.

The trailer starts with a certain person being chased by Combine troops. As the trailer progresses we find out that this person is a member of resistance and that we’ve already meet this person before. This person is Adrian Shephard, the same Adrian Shephard that we led in the Half-Life: Opposing Force. As we find out from the trailer Shephard has joined the resistance and he’s being chased by Combine patrol for some reason. Sheppard is trying to escape and during his escape he gets to the Ravenholm and after that trailer ends with a message that says that his evaluation has been renewed. This leaves many questions open and we’re expecting to see some answers from the team that is responsible for this trailer. Overall, this is a great trailer and although it’s entirely fan-made it still looks amazing.
